Sava’s President and CFO, Chris Krasas was presented 2019’s CFO Excellence Award in Manufacturing by CFO Studio, at this year’s Annual CFO Excellence Awards gathering. The event was held at Governor Morris Hotel in Morristown, New Jersey and is organized to recognize the contributions of the region’s top CFO executives. Before 200 execs and other guests at the 2019 CFO Excellence Awards Gala, as one of 35 Finalists and 13 Award Recipients, Chris Krasas, President & CFO of Carl Stahl Sava Industries, received the CFO Excellence Award for Manufacturing. The Manufacturing Award is given to the finance executive who has demonstrated leadership in the manufacturing industry by enhancing the success, brand, reputation, and growth of the company.
CFO Studio, a national CFO networking organization consisting of partners like Bank of America Merrill Lynch, PwC, JLL, and Robert Half, and is one of the region’s most influential CFO think tanks and incubators for CFO innovation and leadership.
“It’s a special honor just being discussed alongside 35 champions of corporate finance excellence in New Jersey,” Said Krasas. “To be bestowed this distinction is one I don’t take lightly. I am humbled that my contributions and team achievements at Carl Stahl Sava Industries are being recognized. But even more pleasing is that I am receiving this acknowledgement by the CFOs I admire so greatly.”
